at tescos last night I'd remembered the 1p coffee but not the name, so ended up getting my 2 DDs to scan a few cafedirect bags to see if any went through at 1p on the scanner.

Thanks for this tip OP and thanks to the friend who alerted me to this earlier - I'm just out of coffee too and managed to find 6 bags although all other stores had been cleaned out. Very happy

Had some of the Kilamanjaro coffee today - thanks OP.
We tried it - it's a little weak if you use your regular amount BUT use 11/2 times what you regularly do & it's good.

Just got back from Tescos with some of the 1p Kilimanjaro coffee so it's still on the shelves and scanning at 1p. We don't have price checking scanners at my Tesco so I took one bag to the self check out as a trial run. This went smoothly so I celebrated by going back for another 4 packets, that will keep the OH happy :j

well i tryed looking for everything and found the coffee. scanning machines are all out of order so i tryed my luck at a till. the girl on the till said well done you finding a bargain and put all 6 bags through. im using them a prizes on raffle. loving this thread

• There was a box of coffee on the top storage shelf which had a tick box on it saying the products were for a promotion. There were other tick boxes too (for errors, faulty, etc) but they weren't ticked. I naughtily took a packet out and went to the self service and hey presto - 1p Adem 17/9 #72
• 5 bars of "Discount Brand" plain chocolate scanned at 1p. 'Discount Brands' is the name of the actual brand! Confusing! The brand logo is yellow and red. • Wrigley's Extra Fusion (Strawberry Peach Flavour) scanned as 1p. She checked some other flavours but that was the only one which was 1p. SEL said 60p. Katra 17/9 #65

Non-Food

• Umbrella. Totes brand, pink, black and white stripe, one of the folded really small type. Not marked down on shelf, but went through till at 1p. (Reduced to £4.50 from £9.50, although didn't say it was reduced.) Barcode for umbrella is 5017414 833730 supersally01 14/9 #2 Misstress #36

• 1p Stig looking socks . They're black socks with a image on the side that is or looks vaguely like the stig from BBC Top Gear . They're mens, with writing on underneath the image, marked at £2 and are the 'Tiny Idols' kind of make that a lot of the England football stuff was made by. • 2 pairs of socks for 1p each - one had nan on the side and the other pair had grandma on the side. Also picked up for 1p a thin black patent belt with a diamonte clasp - really nice and priced at £1 in the clearance area but went through self scan at 1p. Maxwellhouse 16/9 #46
• Ladies pair of pink socks with a pic of a jelly on and writing underneath saying 'wibble wobble' - 1p Misstress 17/9 #76

• Also got the disneys sweat tops and used the £5off voucher. SA actually said these are 1p as without these my total on clothing was below the £25 but I said I thought they were £2 each and so he just used the voucher aswell. L33na 16/9 #48
