first utility

This is a first post for me,I have had a nightmare with first utility(gas+elec) since I have been with them. Every month I give them my meter readings but still get over charged,a lot more and I ring customer services every time but with no joy.They have the worst customer services I have ever known.Does anyone have these problems with them.They are a nightmare!!!!:(

Yes some people have complained in the past about this company (but then there isn't a company someone hasn't complained about)

Do a searrch to find past examples.

If you have a complaint and are not getting anywhere fast, have you raised this as an official compliant following their complaints procedure?

Although the company doesn't appear to have agreed to the rulings of the energy ombudsman, so complaining eventually to them may be a non-starter.

...or somethimes it's just best to show your displeasure taking your custom elsewhere.

(Then threaten to sue them if they don't promptly return any money owed after you switch supplier)
