Do you have to change insurers to get cashback?

Currently with Swinton who have quoted me quite a high price for renewal although last year was cheap including £40 cashback +£30 quidco.

Have tried getting a fresh quote myself via quidco and this looks a much better deal with £40+£40 cashback. Will this work if I am an existing Swinton customer or is it new customers only?

There's a good chance of it working but, like all cashback, not guaranteed. I did a similar thing with Sheila's Wheels on my home insurance. I was already with them but got a new cheaper quote plus got cashback.

See the cashback as a bonus, its more important to get a competitive quote with the right cover.
