Imagine when he tries to sell the place...

He probably will never sell the place. He seems very happy to be living there. It's the other residents who are unhappy." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Seems mad to have one in your back garden in such an urban area!
Lol! In some countries everyone has a pool in their back yard, urban area or not!
Guy might be a hermit. Maybe he should be rehoused to the country somewhere.0 -
Nothing wrong with it. Those trees look a hell of a lot nicer than the rest of those dump houses!
Sad, sad residents complaining. I'd be happy to live near those trees.
Why can't people mind their own business ?0 -

Well, the neighbour in the other half of the semi can't grow a lawn at the front, because it doesn't get any light. I would imagine their front rooms don't get much light either. They won't be able to see along their own street to their left hand side, only straight ahead and right.
Add to that having to clear their gutters of needles and other debris shed by the neighbour's trees, having to clear the debris from their garden, and the possibility of the roots damaging the foundations of the houses, garden wall, etc......0 -

A handful of copper nails "accidentally" mislaid would work wonders.0
