You lucky girl!!
Not that many manage that without going to appeal.
Did you complete your ESA50 form fully then and submit evidence?0 -
I was surprised, i was getting ready to have to appeal. Yes i did all that

Ah that may be why. The majority of people, and this has been discussed on this site before, fill out the ESA50 with the minimum of information expecting the DWP to contact the GP/Consultant/Hospital for reports (so what's the point of filling it out with duplicate information, like I did - took all of 10 mins!!).
Also, Medical Services (ATOS) make it clear in their letters that you MUST not send in any evidence or other documentation to them prior to the medical. Quite a few ignore this and do it anyhow which does not follow the rules!
The only time when the evidence should be sent in is either attached to the appeal form or to the Tribunal at the hearing - I am still holding all of my evidence which I was waiting to submit at the court hearing, which has now been cancelled because of the long delay in having that hearing (currently running at more than 15 months from date of appeal being sent in to the hearing).
As I said before, you have joined a very elite club 'the first timers'!!
As a matter of interest, when is your next review (ESA50 & ATOS Medical)? They normally reassess every 3/6 months.
Good luck to you0
