Hi
I need to replace the battery in my Acer travelmate 2490 laptop.
Has anybody an idea where best to buy one from?
The prices I have seen seem to vary from very high to very low and don't want ripping off.
Also, when buying the battery, I was wondering if there was a longer life battery compared to the standard battery, I know this may cost more.
Thanks in advance
Martin

did you check in ebay or amazon?0

And when checking on Ebay, make sure you check what the mAh rating is. I've just been buying some Dell ones and there were two the same price - one 2200mAh, the other 4700mAh. The larger one would last nearly twice as long before needing a recharge.0

Before you purchase, take note of the original part number and any part numbers stated as compatible from the manufacturer. Also double check with the eBay seller(if you take that path) that the part is compatible with your machine.
I bought an extended battery for my AAO from here for my long aeroplane journeys. Though don't know if they have one for your model.0
