Trafford Centre: Facilities for Breastfeeding Mums

:j We had our first shopping trip to the Trafford Centre with hubbie & our 4 week old Daughter last week. As a Breastfeeding Mum, the facilities at the Trafford Centre were great & really made the day enjoyable.
The Trafford Centre had at least 2 dedicated feeding rooms (1 on each floor if not more) with comfy chairs, sinks & right next door to baby changing facilities.
This meant when our Baby needed feeding, I could just slip off to feed her, whilst hubbie browsed to his pleasure in gadget shops LOL!! & then carry on shopping & relaxing. The Boots there is also very good, it has dedicated Breast/bottle feeding facilities with privacy screens, glider feeding chairs, free baby wipes & bags within their baby changing facilities - no key needed from staff to access them as with some high street shops.
Overall, it made for a very relaxing afternoon, compared to some town centres where you can satruggle to find public toilets let alone baby changing facilities or feeding facilities.

After both my young kids, one's nearly 3 and the other 11months this was the place where I would go. Especially on a quieter week day. There's no awkward street's, doorways etc for the buggies. Plenty of places to sit down, kids meals etc. The play area is amazing too.My DD thinks it's a day out and actually gets excited. After both births (one caesarian and one forcepts delivery(of which my midwife of 25years experience said she'd never seen such bruising)) this was the first place I went to out of my home. The toilets have a family room with a baby sized toilet next to a bigger one so my little girl who has just finished potty training thinks is great!Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*
£11,860.00 needed = £1,106 in savings

Big thumbs up for them!
Although I do wish it was more socially acceptable to feed just on a bench or in a cafe when out in public. I must admit, this is what I do (discreetly). This way I can have a smoothie or something at the same time whilst watching the world go by.0
