So from that the first part looks like they're taking me to court, the second part looks like a 'This is your final chance' statementAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

the point i'm making that if each of your creditors does the same what will you be able to do?0

To be honest it’s better to get them now rather than later that way in 6 years time you can start to rebuild your credit.
Ok thanks, it just seems pointless and a vicious thing to do. By entering a DMP I'm giving an income/expenditure and paying what I can afford... and if they take me to court then surely the same thing will happen there?!?

Ok, they have sent your application to court (Northampton County Court) it will take a few days for the court to process the application and issue you with a claim form, IF you pay the full balance between now and then CCJ will be prevented, however if you wait until the Claim form has been issued you will then have to pay for the court and solicitors fees also. When you get your Claim form call Payplan and they will talk you through filling it in, you MUST do this asap as you only have 2 weeks to respond. unfortunately there really isn't anything else you can do, Howard Cohen mean business.:mad:All comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Argh no way. I can't pay this in full. I'm thinking of my outgoings & income this month, and I really doubt I could do it. I've now only got a Basic account too so I can't write a cheque or pay over the phone or anything.£2 Coin Savings = £0.230 -

I’m not going to argue with you, I think GE can be very vicious when it comes to people in DMP’s, you aren’t the first and most certainly won’t be the last I’m afraid:mad:
Don’t be worried, it’s JUST a CCJ, so it affects your credit rating for a few years, so what, your in a DMP it’s not like your going to be rushing out and getting credit in the near future.
Take a deep breath, it's all going to be okAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Waaaaaaaaah!! Waaaaaaaah
Sorry for my panicked post earlier, I'm not that scared of a CCJ if it's just a tad worse than a default, I'm scared about bailiffs
Time for some sleep methinks... thanks for your help
PS Anyway's that reminded me, your tickets are here, and in 12 hours time they'll be wizzing their way to you!£2 Coin Savings = £0.230 -

Don't be sorry, it's scary stuff
No probs hun, anytime
but please DO NOT worry about bailiff one little bit, as long as you respond promptly to the claim form and make sure you don’t default on the Judgement amount there is NO WAY bailiffs will EVER get a look in!
Payplan will talk you through it tomorrow in detail, but I assure you as long as you follow Payplans instructions you will be fine, I promise

You wouldn't have to. Even if they push it through the Northampton Fast Track, you will still have the option of making an offer of payment. Even Howard COHEN can not take your rights away from you:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
