A friend of mine has asked me where to go for good "cheap" web hosting and domain registering also....where to go for a forum that they can integrate into the website (a bit like this forum)
I just thought Id put a shout out on here whilst I was doing a bit of research myself in case I miss anything.... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've used http://virtualnames.co.uk a few times.
.co.uk, 2 yrs - £8.50 ex VAT, £9.99 incl VAT
.com, 2 yrs - £18 ex VAT, £21.15 incl VAT
Hosting - from £20 ex VAT, £23.59 incl VAT pa.
For our recently launched community website <see sig> I used http://www.proboards.com which is free and easy to use. <you can pay & remove ads>0 -
Oooooo thanks for that, I've also had a couple a PMs with some info in that I have found quite helpful. Thank you everyone
I shall pass everything onto my mate, but please if anyone else can throw some info my way that will still be appreciated.
Thanks again peeps :T0 -
Lots of options. I use dreamhost - https://www.dreamhost.com. Use the code 'discounted' which although a referral doesn't benefit anyone except you (takes the full referral amount of $96 off) and works best on the crazy insane domain name package ($119)
Gives you 20gb space, 1TB transfer pcm and 'one click installs' that allow you to setup websites and forums without needing to know much about the web. enjoy!Tim0 -
It's also worth looking at Quidco etc for cashback when you've decided who youare going to go with.Nothing can compareTo when you roll the dice and swear your love's for me0
