Hi Guys,
After some help please... I cannot upload any pictures onto a website, I have done it in the past but it just will not work anymore. I have a maximum upload of 1000k and the picture I want to upload is 2.9Mb which is bigger 2.9Mb or 1000K ? I have tried it both in Firefox and IE but the same thing occurs:_
1. I select the picure to upload
2. It placed it in the box to be uploaded
3. It then looks as if it is loading
4. When the bar at the bottom of the screen is complete to say that it has uploaded there is no picutre to select.
Please help !!!!
Thanks
Paul

1000K is just under 1 megabyte, try reducing the colour depthEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

does the website need to accept cookies?
is your firewall blocking?
if the file is too big there are lots of freeware programs to reduce the file size of jpegs
do a search in google for file size reduction of jpegs
or check the above

If the photo is to be viewed on the internet, you only need 72dpi. <Printing needs a higher resolution.> In your graphics software <Paint Shop Pro, Irfanview, Photoshop, etc> you should be able to save as jpeg and reduce the resolution. Lowering the resolution <dots per inch> will reduce the file size.0
