  • Unforunately, they never seem to give much notice on their free and reduced listing fee days...and even then, they can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention. I don't know of any scheduled for any time soon.
  • It's yonks since they've done a free listing day. The next special offer listing day will probably be 5p listing or something again. I wish they would do free listing again.

They did a 5p listing day last Wednesday but it was only for BIN items. They seem to do 5p or 10p days every 2-3 weeks but sometimes it's not on everything.. they did 10p listing on clothes catergory for all weekend in August.
I should think they will probably do something next week but as is already mentioned you don't get much notice:(

They dont advertise them too far in advance as they know sellers will hold back listing items until the cheaper listing day arrives.

They did say earlier in the year that they would not be having so many of these and that they would be specifically targetted e.g. auction only format to encourage use of auctions rather than Buy It Nows. However this hasnt materialised. There seems to be one at least monthly and they have usually included Buy it Nows or at least Auctions with the Buy It Now option added. Obviously something to do with the downturn in throughput on their site.

Even on a cheap listing day they still make loads on Final Value Fees and Paypal fees so on balance Im sure these work out very profitable for them!
