leaving work to take up part time education

hi all i'm looking for advice with regards to benefits if my partner voluntarily leaves her job.

She is currently working fulltime but is going to be starting a part-time access to nursing course in a few weeks. This means that she will be unable to work 2 evenings each week. Unfortunately her current employer will not give any flexibility in her shift patterns to allow her to do this.

She is currently looking for work and will take any job she can find as long as she can get these evenings off to complete her education. direct.gov states:
'Your Jobcentre Plus can delay your Jobseeker's Allowance for up to 26 weeks if you have voluntarily quit without good reason.'

Would leaving work to take up education be classed as a good reason?

Are there any other benefits we can apply for apart from JSA? I am working full-time with a wage of just over 20k
