BA Miles Bonus

Just a quick note to say BA are giving 25% bonus when you purchase miles through their website. They have also increased the amount you can buy from 19,000 to 24,000 which means you can get 30,000 (including the bonus) for £399. Ends 15 October.

Not a bad deal for those of us looking to get some upgrades or top up to get a Club World reward flight.

  • Sorry to sound so thick, but how do you join BA and colect? I assume the are not airmiles.
  • BA miles are different to 'Airmiles'
You can join on the BA site and you collect miles by flying with BA or associated airlines.
You can also collect miles from certain hotels, all the info is on the BA site.

You can collect far more BA Miles by shopping at Tesco.

There are many similarities between BA Miles and Airmiles - and not only because Airmiles is owned by British Airways.

This is fine if you are desperate for miles, but there are far better value ways to accrue them. I have collected just under 200,000 over the past year, and have not actually bought any.

Wow, well done. How did you manage so many? I just got my BA Premium Plus Amex which i hope will help me on my way. My Wife has a Clubcard but i don't know how you get the BA miles through that. Is there a more efficient way to get 30,000 miles for £400?

You can get 20,000 BA Miles for £35 (£95 less £60 Quidco cashback) if you get an Amex Gold Rewards card. Current offer has been extended to November.

Make sure you go through Quidco though, otherwise you won't get £60 cashback.
