mission successful. We ignored the original ticket issued at the car park, they sent us a reminder with a £70 (increased from £50) penalty. This was when we appealled against the ticket. We sent them a letter with supporting evidence that the parking fine is unjustified. Our fine was waived, and hopefully other people that recieved a fine too.

What a PPC accepted an appeal ? They must have got out of bed the right way ;) so congrats on that anyway !

But a couple of points its NOT a fine! And you would have achieved by ignoring, did you appeal to marks or them?
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

I would have suggested sending a snooty letter to that branch of M&S saying that they have lost your custom for employing a PPC.
