SP2 and wireless networking?

Hi,

I am currently with orange for broadband, although my connection is wired i would like my daughters to be wireless. She has an old system and has no ethernet connection.

When i try to connect it does not find the wireless connection it tell me to go to the microsoft website and look up wireless zero configuration service.

It looks like she needs service pack 2 to do this, but i cannot connect her pc to the internet in any way, because she does not have ethernet.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

I wouldn't put any PC on the internet without sp2, and then the following 59 updates from https://www.windowsupdate.com, cos you'll catch something nasty without it.
