Hi , Can anyone help ???
HMRC received my self assessment (short tax return) in April 2010 .
I have not yet received anything back from them , wether it be a rebate or bill .
After numerous phone calls and getting fobbed off alot I am still unclear .:(:(:(

In previous years I have received all info regarding this within one month .

    They only guarantee to work out your tax bill before the payment date of 31st January.

    Why don't you register to file online? It will take a couple of weeks as you have to wait for an activation code to arrive through the post. Then you can enter the figures and see the online calculation. Just make sure you do not actually file it again.
    If it’s not important to you, don’t consume it
