hi im new to this hope someone can help i to have had a letter from fredrickson today says the same as vultures does.just askes me to contact them asap but doesnt says what for with the ref number i can make out its from argos.my ex husband wanted a argos card but couldnt get one so i got it in my name yeh yeh i know lol he owes £700 or so no more than £800. or should i say i do. god i feel sooooo stupid now that we have split up he wont pay it and ive got a little lad whos a 11 he doesnt see but bk to this now im left with this bloody letter i did pay some off last year just before christmas to try and get it down think i payed about £130 but then i couldnt afford it as my ex got to keep our house and me and the lad at to move out so i didnt get any statements from argos so i couldnt pay it what do i do should i just ignore the for the time bein as im not phoning them0

I think you would be better off starting a new thread, from my limited understanding you will not be statue barred as you paid some towards the debt last year. However there are lots of great people who will be able to help you with how to deal with this or you could contact the national debt line http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/ who will also give you advice.
