Hello,

Can someone tell me - when you enter a new thread, there is no option to add tags to your post? Is this correct?

If this is the case, how will my post be tracebale by others?

I am referring to tags which people are supposed to enter for their threads and posts - i.e. the most relevant words associated with their positing. There is no option to enter tags in this forum? How will people find my posts?

People can subscribe to any of your posts they find interesting enough, so that when there's a new post responding to it they will be notified - is that what you mean?

Otherwise the search function searches full text, all words are indexed. People can also search for you by username or various other methods.

I think I'm a General, tho now retired and enjoying all that lovely money I stole from selling nuclear secrets to Iran. But, still, this forum has no tags additions facility.

coz this 1 is apparently the largest forum - u may not like a mercedes over a ford but mecedes is mercedes, not quite in this case but its just that some more ppl are over here on this forum.:money:

Having tags is a good idea; it is a popular in several forums. It saves searching for key words and the tag oriented search would have accuracy. I thought it was more on science and related discussions oriented forums though.
