Restaurants in Brighton?

Hi-not sure this is the right place so feel free to move if I've got it wrong!
I'm going to Brighton this month (17th) for my 30th and approx 15 loyal friends are joining me. I need to book a restaurant for us in the next couple of days. Need something cheapish (approx £15-20ish not including wine), relatively central and pref not a chain.
Any ideas anyone? All suggestions would be gratefully received!

Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.
