Dog Lost His Voice?!

My dog was in kennels whilst we were on our holidays and we picked him up about 12 days ago. He is a bit of a barker and we've noticed that when he barks, it's much more sedate and "scratchier" than normal. It does sound like he's lost his voice - but I wanted to check if this can happen to dogs?! He had his kennel cough…

You've got to say what number one is now!:D (I love weims, in fact all the HPR's)

SA do you think? We only have one weim, and he's not that bothered about being away from his folks, but we have a few GSP's who complain quite a lot when they are left. by anyone. ever.:) Guess it's a HPR thing.
