in Credit cards
Having had months and months woth no pre-approved offers on my Barclays pages, I now have a pre approved offer to increase my O/D (no ta!) and to apply for a Barclaycard - never had the barclaycard one before....
It has all options on there from Barclaycard initial to Platinum - I currently have a Barclaycard initial with a paltry £260 limit... which has been paid on time every month and sometimes cleared to Nil - have had this for about 2 years, never had an increase in limit!
I have a CCJ which is satisfied and which will drop off my credit report by the end of next year. I have had 2 searches in the last 6 months.
Should I apply for a "normal" Barclaycard? Or should I just leave it? Would be nice to have something mainstream and get rid of Vanquis... (although they have been good to me!)
I have the Vanquis which I am paying off - (limit £1250, balance £500 ish) and a capital one of £1100 balance £200ish Usually pay off each month and use for petrol etc -
I'm aware that preapproved doesn't mean accepted automatically... but your thoughts would be good
