Extended Overseas Holidays

We are considering an extended holiday for 3-4 weeks at end of January- February. We are both pensioners and after last winter feel you could probably spend some time in a warmer country as reasonably as England. We are considering Paphos in Cyprus or Malta, can anyone tell us how warm it generally is at that time of year. We have seen a company called Mercury offering 3-4 week holidays at various places. Has anyone had experience of this company? We debated about taking an apartment but then you don't get the facilities that a hotel would offer, like an indoor pool. If anybody has experience of this type of holiday or any suggestions it would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help.

The deals on Mercury for extended holidays look very good.
The Coralia in Coral Bay (Paphos) is in a quiet and picturesque spot.
Level walking towards Sea Caves, running parallel to the sea.
The Coral Bay strip is 15 minutes walk away.
The Coralia is also the terminus for the public bus into Paphos (tourist area + old town).
Paphos will be very quiet on the tourist front, but the area is a major destination for expat Brits.
So long as you are not too demanding you'll enjoy it.
The weather should be pleasant during the day, and a bit cool atfter dark. But be prepared for a bit of squally rain.0 -
I'd check https://www.weather.com they usually have most places covered for average temps for each month of the year.
I'd take an apartment or villa too, over a hotel, as you probably don't want to eat hotel food for a month, and it would be a bigger risk than I'd prepared to take to book somewhere cheap and hope that the food was good.
We went to the Malaga area at Christmas and New Year a couple of years ago and got very lucky with the weather - the averages suggested it would be 15 to 18 degrees at that time of year with a few days of rain, instead it was 20 to 23 with one cloudy day in the fortnight we were away.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
