Still can't understand how it can roll if the handbrake is applied correctly, and it is left in 1st/rev gear.

Have you actually done all the things that have been suggested in the above posts, especially pointed the wheels to the kerb while you have this problem?

Take the given advice before you throw money at it willy nilly :money:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Thanks but my car has been at the dealership garage since 9am Monday, being looked at.

Up until that point my car has always been parked, with handbrake on and in gear (as for pointing the wheels to the kerb, I will do so in future as an extra precaution).

I am waiting to hear back from the dealership as I have spoken to the manager and asked him to speak to the people looking at my car and ascertain what checks have been carried out so far, and to actually get to the bottom of why my car intermittently "rolls" even though it is in gear and handbrake on. I am waiting to hear back from him.

Thanks for all your replies, I do appreciate it.
