Malwarebytes not working

Hi there

When i click the Malwarebytes icon (Malwarebytes logo is missing) i get.

"the item referred to by this shortcut in this shortcut cannot be acccessed. You may not have the appropriate permission."

all my other security is working fine which is Avast, IObit 360, Threatfire

i tried uninstalling the program with revo uninstaller it said it could not removing the following file till after reboot

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

after reboot i noticed that the folder was still there and when i tried to delete the folder said i needed administrator rights , but i am the administrator

in the folder is the application file as with the shortcut does not have the logo , the logo that is there is the one when it is unassociated with a program. tried reinstalling no luck, could i be infected ? many thanks

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)

    Please run COMBOFIX
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
    Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
(If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)

If you have gone to the file via explorer/my computer and you have the correct .exe file it should run. Try removing it the normal way (control panel then add / remove programs) if that works reinstall it. Hope that helps.
