Marmaris ideas for Summer 2011

Hi
I've tried to do my research but keep getting mixed views by reading all the review sites so thought I'd ask here.
2 adults and 2 young kids (will be 6 & 8 next summer).
We are looking for a nice clean hotel with great food etc if we decide to go all-inclusive.
Never been to Marmaris before so don't really know where its all happening but ideally would like to be in a location where we can walk into the pub/restaurant areas and beach.
Any help would be great.
