If short term, or on odd occasions, is there a local shopmobility scheme?

Hi I am looking to rent for long term hire for as long as I possibly can.0 -
If you get HRM you can lease one from £11.50/week using your allowance.
If you google mobility scooter hire there are plenty that come up.
You would probably be cheaper buying a 2nd hand one on EBay if you can afford it.0 -
I was reading a magazine yesterday and noticed this company advertising hire of mobility scooters. Not sure if they are only for the over 60s, but here's the website: https://www.forbes-rentals.co.uk.
Charges for scooters start at £11.85 a week and there is a minimum hire period of 18 months.0 -
£11 - £12 per week is an awful lot to pay - that's around £600 per year for the smallest model . I was expecting about half that amount.:hello:0
