Majorca apartments

Hi.
I am hoping to go to Majorca at the end of September early October for a week.
There will be my brother, dad and myself and i am after a 2 bedroom apartment in a hotel or a private apartment.
I have looked on the internet through travel agents but a lot of them only do a 1 bedroom apartment and as my dad is 70 i think it best that he has a bedroom on his own and we share the other one.
We are thinking of going from Magaluf to Arenal and anywhere between these places as we will be meeting people who live in Palma and want to be nearby.
Has anybody got any suggestions about hotels/apartments that have 2 bedrooms in Majorca would be great.
Thank you.

  • I had a quick look on alpharooms & came up with some options. I found the Roc Portonova Apartments in Palma Nova that had 2 bed apartments. I also found the Aquasol in Palma Nova. They had a 3 bedroom apartment.

  • When looking on accommodation websites, put in 5 adults. If you put in less it's likely to only show you accommodation which takes 4 adults max.. You're rarely find a 1 bed that sleeps 5 so if you put in 5 adults it will only show you the 2 bedroom apartments.. if you're going self catering it will be the same price for the room whether there's 2 or 5 of you. Then when you want to book, call the travel agent and book it over the telephone :)

    Thanks for replies.

I have tried the what melb said but not many where i want to go.

I have tried using online travel agents for flight/hotels but you have to put 3 adults for the flights and a lot of them only give 1 bedroom apartments.

Putting in 5 adults when searching hotels is better but if you add the flights from another site i think it works out more expensive.

I have also tried putting down 2 rooms but for the 1 adult in a single room that is quite dear.

i have put a post in the beat the travel agent thread but not heard anything yet.
