Log Cabin or summer house?

Hi, we need an extra room and have no space to extend. We were thinking a log cabin would do the trick in the garden. We don't need it plumbed just big enough for a sofa bed and warm enough to be used in the winter.
Does anyone have any recommendations and what thickness would the wood need to be??

They are a finnish based company with many years of experiance. The log cabins come in kit form and assembly is similar to building a shed i.e all walls are pre manufactured and need lifting into place and securing.
The tech spec shows good insulative quality and there is no planning approval required for most of them.

if you need to run electric to the summer house then you will need building regs approval.

has a bunch of summerhouses and log cabins for you too look through, gives you a good idea on prices too, I got my Finnforest from here and they were great.
