Hi,
I have applied for the social work bursary and just wondered if housing benefit take it in to account when re- assessing my claim as if they do don't know if it's worth having!!

Are you studying in england or Wales? Wales give you a £3000 ish bursary from the Care Council for Wales which is non income assessed so it won't affect it. Usually bursaries are given out in this way so its ok. However in England it may be different, I'd contact the company giving you the bursary and be honest to find out how it'll affect you. Or speak to your uni student funding department. Good luck with your studies!0
