graphics card

I have a pc from aldi about 8years old i changed the graphics card about 4years ago, when i go into the system to find out what it is it does not show anything, i want to upgrade to a better one anybody have the same model ,it is a medion 8000 range, thanks

    PC Wizard will probably tell you what chipset the current one is based on.

    I doubt there is much to be gained from upgrading the graphics card. Your 8 year old PC will probably have an AGP card slot, which is not used much these days.

    Use GPU-Z if you need detail.

    ... or just click start > run and type "dxdiag"

    that command will give you a quick but fairly comprehensive overview :)


    PS 8 years is a very good run for a PC, not sure you'l find it economical to do much with it and a new machine will almost certainly offer better value....
