toots, I've often taken things like carrot sticks and hummus, easy to prepare (as in only need to chop some carrots and buy some hummus!) and not quiche which there always seems to be loads of! Impressed by how much you've crossed off your list today!
I've folded some baby washing, had a little lie down and will grab the rest of the washing when I go to the loo.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Back from Norfolk~ flowers on Mum's grave, found a man strimming the grave yard, it is going to look so much better once had has finished.

Stick around - it's never dull on this thread :TThe children announced that they are only tidying the mess that they have made so we had a little chat about why should I wash their bedding when I havent slept in it, wash and iron their uniforms when I didn't wear it, make chocolate cake when I don't eat it, etc.
I used to ask my children to tidy things that they hadn't messed. They would complain about having to deal with each other's mess as they hadn't made it. I explained that they were doing ME a favour, and I would make sure that the other one did jobs too. They understood that, and nbow it's second nature for them to do things that need doing (though I still have to remind them
