    Hello! Good morning!

    First of all,

Quillion - massive hugs, you know where we are if you need support / rant / a giggle / a virtual cup of tea (delete where appropriate) xxx

Lamewolf - I'm not sure it would be classed as kidnapping if I drove stripes round to you and INSISTED you have her.....we didn't close the conservatory door last night and she slept on the clean washing....she was having a bath today because she stinks so now everything has to be washed again. All she could do was smile and wag her tail at us!:rotfl:

Tootles - she said she'd like a lift but only if you go very, very, VERY fast!

LL - large spoonfuls of fairy dust xxxx

Today I am having a Make a Difference Day - each room is going to be improved, each drawer is going to be improved, each cupboard is going to be improved. I'm actually have a week long blitz but today is the start....so, if anyone wants to join in i'm doing a

Thanks PP - thread is useful and thanks for your suggestion re using them after for cake making rather than scrambling. I have 36 eggs, two cakes made, and we already had scrambled with breakfast!
Grateful I read MFW in awe, especially the likes of ChaMichelle. Our m/g is similar to yours which for me presents a huge mental barrier to op's so the money goes into materials for the renovation instead.
Mudbath - I like your MADday idea, and joined you. Started at the back door and worked in which I need to keep doing all day.

The children announced that they are only tidying the mess that they have made so we had a little chat about why should I wash their bedding when I havent slept in it, wash and iron their uniforms when I didn't wear it, make chocolate cake when I don't eat it, etc. I believe that ended that rebellion. I am still black bagging any toys left on the floor at bedtime, they are running out of toys but are STILL not tidying. I don't know where they get this pigheaded attitude from (:o) but I WILL NOT GIVE IN!

Mummyslittleboy - you've reminded me that I really ought to do the carosel (sp?) in the kitchen next. We can never find anything in there!

    In the last hour i've:
    - put DS's bedding in the washing machine
    - taken everything of the fridge/freezers (stuff I take off every week (ish) then put back) and I've chucked most of it. All that's left is a couple of big serving dishes and the sewing box!
    - bits and bob drawer in kitchen (some of the stuff in there was ridiculous!)
    - all clothes for ironing in one place
    - put clothes to dry in conservatory
    - emptied bin (again)
    - filled a charity bag

Off I go again until 230 xx

You blatantly left it there for her, smelling all lovely and fresh. That's why she wagged, to say thankyou:rotfl:

Michelle is an inspiration. I know what you mean about a mental barrier, but that money spent in renovation goes towards increasing the value/improving loan-to-value/making it easier to get a better remortgage next time so its never wasted. Also makes the house nicer to live in.
We found a(nother) leak the other day and have got so sanguine about it we just shrugged! Think we need Beeny:eek:

Cannot find our advent calendar, we have one you hang stuff on, it is completely missing. Will be majorly in the doghouse as Mum embroidered it about 25 years ago:eek:
