    Hi all
I'm in again this week - not sure how often I'll be posting, but I'll be flying everyday, guaranteed.... I haven't caught up on the thread, so I'm sending hugs to everyone who needs one.

Here's what I've done so far today...

Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash nets/curtains/other soft furnishings that are grotty.. do we need winter curtains up yet? [/STRIKE] We have vertical blinds (but not for much longer...:j) so I have given these a dust.
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE] Lazy...used the attachment on the hoover.
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Clear fire surround of gibble![/STRIKE] Don't have a fire, so tidied the coffee table.
Put all hotspots into a pile/box and sort through it all while having a cuppa.
[STRIKE]Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing. See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house! Who needs new coats/boots for winter?[/STRIKE] Me. I've lost 1.5 st so my clothes no longer fit (and I've gone down a shoe size)
    Extras

    1. Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    2. [STRIKE]Make sure lightbulbs are working and smoke alarms!!!![/STRIKE]
    3. Clean a window or two.
    4. [STRIKE]Defluff behind radiators.. has anyone tried those heat reflective things for behind radiators? Are they good for energy saving?[/STRIKE] Done. Not tried the reflective thingys, but my parents used to swear by aluminium foil behind the rads.
Have also done the weekly shop - why is it much cheaper if I go myself, rather than shopping online? And that's even taking the delivery charge into account.

I've also got the downstairs loo, bathroom and kitchen to sort today as OH has a meeting here tomorrow. This won't be a deep clean, just a quick wipe round and tidy. Might try and do some of this before I leave for the school run.

DS is being very sweet and 'helping' me to sweep the floors...

    Right, I'm off...

    Take care

  • Yikes!

I think you all must have immaculate homes. My 'Gibble' box has been filled from dining table, side board, fire surround - not entirely sure what I am going to do with all though.

Oh and also have a bookcase in my hall which looks like its holding 3x more books than its designed for.

Already feeling a bit overwhelmed so going to sort out some music i think, see if that helps!

Monday's list completed. Going to carry on with a bit more cleaning because today is the only day i'm pretty much free.

Shysarah - even if you only complete one item on the list then you're getting there. It's not about finishing everything, it's about making your home that little bit nicer each week. Next time you do the same list you'll find it that bit easier - promise!

Been and seen hubby this morning and brought him up a book. Rhys came up to see him and couldn't wait to be lifted and had the biggest smile. I think it helped hubby too to see him. :D

My clean washing is overflowing so i'll get that done before the school run and then get the wet washing in off the line, i think it's suffered enough. :rotfl:

I cleaned the oven this morning:D It is beautiful and shiny now. Also intend to defrost the freezer at some point this week. As well as doing all the washing and ironing, plastering a wall and laying a floor. Shouldnt take me long:p

    Hi All

I am in (of sorts) this week, thanks to all at Flylady Central, hope you are all well, special love to Lady-L, Toots & Diva.

I was awol last week, still flying a bit although I have now gone and jerked my neck, can hardly move it, really don't know what I have done but been wakened with the pain since 3am this morning :(. There will be no HHC's for me tonight, painkillers not even taking the edge off. House is not looking too bad but Mount Ironmore has now grown arms and legs
