  • my weakness is our cinema passes (I paid a yearly subscription - that works out at £13 per month). I have free internet at work and at home (we have one of those plug in stick things from the mobile phone co so we get free wireless internet) and I tend to only buy chocolate/sweeties when they're on special or if we've got any lottery/pub quiz winnings!

Its the one thing me & hubby do every week together sometimes its just us, sometimes with friends. Plus if we go twice a month we've had our money's worth. We smuggle in our own drinks & snacks too or try to eat before we go so were not tempted to spend money while were in there.

Books--I know I could go to the library, but they never have anything up to date, what they do have you have to wait ages for and sometimes they smell a bit interesting. So interesting in fact, that I have been known to read one holding it in a teatowel that I threw away afterwards.

I dont like selling them after I read them either. And I dont give them away or even like lending them out.
Just sat here thinking about the books and I think I might have abit of a book problem!

I am EXACTLY the same with books... Infact, I have to buy a new bookshelf soon, because I can't even bear to box them up and put them in the cupboard!!

Hi, my name's Tellmeitsfriday, and I am a Bookaholic!!!
  • I would say the internet, but our old laptop at home is so crumbly I barely use it there (OH mostly uses it for XBOX online, but that's HIS addiction) so I use it at work in my lunch hour where it's free :)

Therefore, I have to say (and I know it might seem a bit strange) but my addiction is getting my milk delivered! It's the one thing I can do that makes me feel like I have a luxury but doesn't break the bank. Brings back lovely memories from childhood and makes me feel looked after, plus saves having to lug it home from the shops :D

I would say books too, but I'm trying really hard to read the ones I already have or go to the library instead of buying new ones, so i feel like I'm doin' alright :)

PS. I paid off my loan today. Am stoopidly excited even though it doesn't change my financial situ due to other debts, just wanted to share and encourage everyone to keep going :)
