Looking for a savings software tool

I have a number of different bank accounts so it takes a fair bit of research to figuire out how much money i have. Not sure where to post this but i'm looking for a software tool to help this and saving.

I'm thinking something like a money box that stays on your desktop that you can program to go up or down with fixed incomings and outgoings. And also manually take money out of the counter, and add in money for those less fixed incomings and outgoings.

With little money boxes around it that you can use to split up the main budget into categories - preferably with saving goals for each category that you can change.

Does anything like this exist? Cause all I can find are spreadsheets, and those are just boring.
Amount left to pay on house = 64,400.

Savings buffer = 1,028.75 of 2415.

Next large expense = 159 of 483.

  • I bank with First Direct and they have something called Internet Banking Plus. You set up details of all your accounts and the logon details of any online ones. It is password protected obviously but it's the computer equivalent of sitting running money thru your fingers. Just seeing all those numbers on the screen is quite satisfying!
