2 student accounts

My bro has opened a HSBC student account and applied for a Natwest one too - i then found that both accounts have a clause in preventing you from having more than 1 student account.
The HSBC account is up and running - and his Natwest one has been approved pending proof of his acceptance at his uni and he has already got apps for the free Railcard also -
1. should he go ahead and send his proof of uni to Natwest or let the offer lapse?
2. if he does manage to get both open - what does he need to do in order for them not to find out that he has 2 accounts?

I have accounts with both of the above mentioned banks and no probs as of yet (touch wood) in the two years they've both been open.0

From my experience in doing the same thing, I have found that I have only ever been questioned if no money is running through each account. I therefore have £30 running into the second and third account so that the computers that run them don’t throw an error.
Good luckOnly two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I have way too many bank accounts, lol... however, 2 of them are at NatWest. One is a CurrentPlus account and the other is a Student Account (and I'm starting my first year at Uni).
I'm planning on opening a current account at the Halifax, and transferring the DD (theres only one!) from my NatWest CurrentPlus account to take advantage of Halifax's 3 month interest-free overdraft offer while the transfer takes place.
Then, after the 3 months are up, I'm going to ask Halifax to upgrade the current account to a Student account and take advantage of the big interest-free student OD, but keep my NatWest Student account running until I qualify for the maximum £2700 OD at the Hally... read the related threads if you don't know about all the problems students face in getting the full amount!
I have the money available to pay off my NatWest OD if they twig to what I'm up to, but apart from this can anyone see any problems here?
