Ex somehow lying about earnings

Are you sure he's not self-employed? That would totally explain it, self-employed financial advisers always declare their earnings to be somewhere around the tax threshold. If he's not self-employed, might he be a limited company? If so, he can pay himself a low wage and the take extra in the form of dividends, and dividends are the easiest thing to get a variation on. If I were you, I would invest a couple of quid of the money he's paying to run some searches at Companies House - if you find he is a director, submit a variation on the grounds of income not taken into consideration. Of course, if he's super-sneaky he could be diverting income through someone else to cover himself.0

I really feel for you receiving that small amount but are you sure he is concealing income. My DH is a NRP and he pays £32 a week.We appear outwardly to lead a comfortale lifestyle and have a similar value property but it my job and my money that mainly provide for our lifestyle.I pay the bulk of the mortgage which isnt that big as we put a large deposit down from selling a previous property.
I also come from a wealthy family, my OH earns a decent wage but that is only down to working overtime and receiving a performance related bonus which wasnt taken into account on the original calculations as it wasnt gauranteed.I earn good money but I absoloutly refuse to pay a penny of my money to his ex.It is OH responsibility to provide for his child not mine.
His ex over the years has questioned our lifestyle nice cars, good holidays, our two children being well provided for.His ex has 4 children to four different men and recieves 4 lots of CSA, she lives on benefits and has never worked a day in her life. The child OH pays for is nearly 19 and works full time but CSA wont listen and wont close case so I feel no guilt whatsoever that we lead a nice life and I will openly flaunt it at every opportunity as my OH has been done wrong to!0
