Scumbag Blair's gifts to his children

Slimeball Blair and his multi-million pound gifts to his ugly spoilt brats:

This man really has no decency. Most young people have to scrimp and save to raise a deposit on a hovel while Blair's kids have million pound houses given to them on a plate. This from a man who has the blood of thousands on his hands. Beyond belief!

Calling other people ugly because of the luck & fortune they were born into, but haven't asked for, is pretty ugly IMHO

No need to verbally abuse his children but he is scum and those properties have been bought with blood money. I don't believe in god but the phrase "If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to" comes to mind...

I didn't get anything for my 18th now I think of it! Maybe a glass in a box...

My daughter won't have the deposit for a house ready for some years, but what she has amassed was earned by her own toil, so each £ is worth so much more than those invested on behalf of Bliar's kids.

I don't think any of his kids are 'ugly'. Quute a good looking bunch to be honest. Do you want to post up a picture of yourself Mark so we can all compare and contrast?

Maybe it's just me, but I find it strange how angry this makes people. I couldn't care less that a rich man is buying houses for his children. I have my own views on whether this is a 'good thing' or not and what I'd do for my kids if I were a multi-millionaire, but I don't really care what others do.

My parents helped us out with our deposit, but they did it in a bit of a sneaky way. We decided we wanted to buy a house and spent a few years saving the deposit. We then found the house we wanted, put an offer in, had it accepted and started looking for mortgages. It was at this point that my parents offered the money they wanted us to have, as they felt that we'd done the whole thing ourselves and not bought a more expensive house just because we had more deposit money in the first place. Their rationale for giving us the money was that it was coming my way when they die anyway, so why not have a bit now when it's actually more useful? Makes sense to me and if I had kids I'd probably do the same.

We're not talking millions for a house in London by the way. ;)

All well and good getting a house like that but you'd have to be a pretty high earner to be able to afford to live in it?

I have a feeling that mom and pop may just be helping out with that too.

So continues the theme. Anyone with more money than Maklv is bad and horrible. They should all pay more tax to make his life better.

I agree with Cleaver, not sure this is how I would look after my kids if I were that rich, they need to stand up on their own 2 feet. I think it is Peter Jones who has set up a trust for his kids. For every £1 they earn, the trust will give them another £1. Quite a nice approach I think. Anyway, that is a bit of a tangent.

I wouldn't want to be too critical of Blair for this, as we shouldn't forget that Blair and his family are rather unique. Part of the purchases may very well be security related. Up to them how they raise their kids.

Such rubbish, why is it that if someone has more than others they must be bad?

Sure there are rich ar*eholes, but there are also poor ar*eholes.

Chip on shoulder much!! I am sure you would do the same for your kids given the chance.
