Does non driving criminal convictions effect Insurance? Can't get Home Insurance til it is spent.
Also can the fact I declared medical to DVLA effect Insurance, even if I have no conditions attached to my licence?

You have to disclose all criminal convictions until they are spent uner the reabilitation of offenders act. As long as you are upfront about your convictions some insurers will offer quotations, depending on the crime. Don't bother with comparisons sites for this one, you will need to speak to a broker.
Medical conditions also have to be disclosed. Depending on the condition, this should not normaly stop you getting a quote.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'd contact your local broker or perhaps a national broker like giles or protecta group.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
