claming back bank charges - I WON!!!

Thanks to this brilliant site, i received a letter from HSBC's solictors saying they would refund my £258 worth of bank charges!

so anyone who hasnt done this yet, please do it! - it really works!

    i will be using the money to reduce my debt - of course!!!!! :)

    seriously, i am aiming to be debt free by the end of the year. i have a loan with HSBC and i have been saving to pay it back in full by xmas. this money will def help!

    The fact you incurred fees means there was some breach in terms and conditions. Most people are so caught up in getting the refund that they fail to acknowledge the reasons that caused them to rack up in the first place.

    well done you! I started the process in august but they never replied within 14 days and I never sent the letter recorded delivery so I couldn't prove it had been sent! I'm gonna start the process again this week as I'm out the country for 2 weeks from friday so I'll remember when I get home to send the second letter!

    How long did the process take you? I'm reclaiming £223

    DEBT FREE for the first time in 10 years and with savings!

    1st Baby due May 2011 :o it's a BOY:j
