Help me decide where to go please!

Okey dokey,

I am hoping to go away for xmas/new years 2010, I dont mind leaving on xmas day but I need to be back by the 2nd January (I think son goes back to school on the 3rd, but will know for definate next week when he goes back to school) and would like to spend new years at wherever I end up.

The main things are:

No where that requires anti malarials, getting the 2 year old to take them in Kenya last year was traumatic, lol

Somewhere that will be hot enough to be able to actually use the outdoor pool, a couple of years ago I went to the Canaries, and whilst it was warm it was too cold to use pool

And lastly, nothing with more than 6 hours flying time.

With all that said, I could only really think of 2 places, Egypt or the Middle east, Ideally I would like an AI package but I am also quite happy to DIY. From what I heard, Egypt can get a bit chilly, which then leaves the ME, i have done Dubai and wasnt keen on it but I heard in RAK they have an all inclusive hotel???? I have been Abu dhabi, but not sure the kids would enjoy it as much this time round as it was easier to plonk them in the pool and be happy with that, now thay want kids clubs and all sorts, or at least a decent pool..lol

Hopefully you guys will come up with a few ideas :)

thanks

Eilat, Israel. Should be warm enough and a couple of the Isrotel hotel group are all inclusive with kids clubs and entertainment.

I think the Sport club and Lagoona are all inclusive.

Flight time is about 5 hours.

Canaries, would be my suggestion, but to pick somewhere with a heated pool.
