LCD tv repair?

I have a 32" samsung lcd tv, it has developed a fault.
The screen has a green tint through it now, making it pretty unwatchable, it is out of warranty, but apart from that fault it is immaculate.
Is this feasible to repair or is it a replacement?
Any tv experts out there?
thanks

This might be a stupid suggestion, but is it not just one of the settings has changed, such as the contrast, hue etc...? Or is it something physically wrong with the screen?0

Thanks for quick reply, but its def not setting, it is a fault0

Is this on any particular input (Sky box, DVD etc) or on every input?
If the former, then check the connections, as could be a dodgy SCART cable. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Not sure exactly but a component is damaged inside. Most TV repair person will price you based on the cost for that TV. It also depends if the repair man gives warranty. But that should cost between £50 - £90 inclusive of parts.
Give me the model number and I can give you a cost to repair it, not by me though lol, I work from home so no TVs
When I was 5, my dad told me that the ice-cream van only played songs when it's out of ice-cream. Cheek!:mad:0 -
Unplug everything except the ariel and see if the green tint is still there
If it is unplug the aerial and plug in sky or a dvd or whatever and try again
(Faulty cables can cause this, its unlikely but its cheaper than a tv repair of which id say NO - Buy a new one):idea:0 -

Although you are correct but why not get the model number of the unit to determine the faith of the TV?When I was 5, my dad told me that the ice-cream van only played songs when it's out of ice-cream. Cheek!:mad:0
