Limited edition Gold & Silver coins from Royal Mint - a worthwhile investment?

    Personally I say no.

    You would be better buying silver bullion in well recognised forms the cheapest way you can. Like US eagles or Canadian maple leafs.

    If you buy coins that are more expensive because they are special or limited editions, then you are not really investing in silver you are investing in the perceived value of the coin.

    If you invest in special edition baseball cards you are not investing in paper, so if paper shot up in value your cards wont go up that much.
