Just moved into West Sussex and am looking to setup the utilities with the relevant companies - who are the cheapest for gas, electric and water please ?

    You can't choose your water supplier.
    Your question is like asking 'what is the best car for me to buy?'-we know nothing about your house and household, how you heat it, your pattern of consumption etc.
    Get your annual consumption figures (use annual, not monthly DD figures) and then put them into one of the comparison sites recommended on the main MSE site under Utilities. Do the actual switch via a cashback site.
    You will have to register with the existing suppliers first before you can commence the switching process.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
