Hi! I'm after some advice - for the last few weeks we have been getting junk mail sent to our postal address but with different peoples names (4 names and counting!)
I smell some kind of scam but am flummoxed as to what it may be - can anyone shed any light on this please?

Do you recognise the names? Is the address the exact same? What kind of mail? Catalogues or just leaflet type things? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
No I don't recognise any of the names - we have lived at this address for over 13 yrs (and yes the address is exactly our address), and they aren't the names of the people we bought off.
The letters are all insurance junk letters - 3 from churchill, 1 from co-operative, 1 from direct line and 1 from e-sure.0 -
Just delete them stop making threads here.0

And how do you delete snail mail, pcombo?0

Same as you would on a computer. Put it in the trash.0

Sounds like someone has been putting your address in an Insurance comparison site, or individual insurance sites when obtaining quotes.
IMO likely someone from the same postcode as you who wanted a quote, but not to receive junk mail (which happens if you give your real address).
Bin it, but you will probably get some more junk mail this time next year.0 -
If it's got names/addresses on (even though the names ain't yours), I would put the junk mail though a shredder or place in a fire.0
