smartie, I don't think it matters what age they are... They all teethe differently... DD1 didn't get her first until she was 9months but you knew when each and every one came through... DD2 started at 3 months and you wouldn't have known apart from the sharp points in her gums...

You should totally get an amber teething necklace though, Caitlyn didn't need it so much for teeth but it made her a lot calmer and happier... :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I think Keira's first tooth made an appearence at 4 months ish. She had them all by 1, I remember all her back teeth came in at once, and I didn't even notice. The only thing that gave it away was she got horrible nappy rash when her teeth were coming through, and dribbling all over the shop, I suppose I was quite lucky that she didnt suffer with the pain so much.

Im telling you tho, earache is the WORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRST in a child. Keira got it once earlier this year, and I shot a clove of garlic in her lug as I heard that helped - probably an urban legend but I think it had a bit of a placebo effect on her.

Not much you can do really. What's so fab about amber teething thingygumms?

My sister (the 16yo) has an absess on her tooth right now (im at my mums) and shes crying her eyes off, she went to dentist earlier and she was just wanting it pulled out but they wouldnt. Said she also needed 15 fillings? She went to another dentists tho, I think they are lying to try and fleece the NHS or whatever tho as her regular dentist said she needs ONE filling, so where the hell 15 is coming from is beyond me!

Tia I love that dress :)

RMac re potty training the only tip I can offer is wait until LO is ready! I was beginning to think R would never be ready as DD1 was dry at 22 months but suddenly she has just clicked ( she is 2 and half) we have no accidents at home but she gets a bit confused when I put clothes on her bottom half and thinks its a nappy so thats what we have to work on! We also had a major breakthrough when she ate fish fingers for dinner! she is the fussiest eater ever:cool:

Bruno hope you get things sorted its not nice being stuck in the middle and I wonder if sometimes my OH feels like this as I dont see eye to eye with the inlaws! (note to self - try and be a bit more understanding)

Susan - thinking of you and your family x

Smartie my friends lo got his first 2 teeth at 8 weeks and was the first to lose them at 5 but other than that no problems. Iv read some babies are born with them!!

I wish Keira was dry at nights :( She peed on my bed again last night. Somehow, she managed to avoid pee'ing in the pull up, and it squirted out the side? Lovely. Not sure how to tackle it tbh, should I wake her up during the night and put her to the toilet as someone told me they'll never learn their own signals if you do that, Ive tried putting knickers on underneath her pullups but to be honest, she either doesnt care she is soaking wet, or she is in such a deep sleep she isnt aware.

She's been out of nappies for wee'ing since she was 2 and a half, but we had a battle with her wanting to still poop in nappies until she was 3. Its been a year and a half and we are still no further on her midnight pee'age. My mattress looks bloody minging and I do clean it when she does.

Where's the best place to get one of those amber teething necklaces?? I have had a read about them... so am I right in thinking just wearing it helps?

DS started teething early but not this early!!(can't remember when as it was a long time ago:o) He got an awful rash under his chin but don't think he really suffered. Hopefully Daisy will sail through it ok. She's been chewing away on our fingers:)

Smartie, one of our friends little ones was born with a full set of baby teeth. Same age as Chris (all the doctors had to go have a look). But i don't think it matters what age they start. Younger and older have their own different pros and cons. But they all gotta go through it.

Get an amber teething necklace and a sophie :D (amber has the necklace but not the sophie) Oh and ashton and parson powders but check the age on them, I have a feeling they are 3 months and up?

smartie - most of us got the necklace from the same seller off eBay. It was boogellyboo that original recommend them - I'll have to go on a searching mission to find the original link.

never mind, tia beat me! :)
