Everything is a battle lately...i'm starting to think I must have been evil in a past life."So, do you still have Down's syndrome?"
"Yes."
"Oh, ok then. *stamps form* DLA for you!"
Infuriating, and such a waste of time.
That is so  it's :rotfl:! Idiots!
I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing that I work(ed) for the DWP so I know how rubbish they can be!
Thanks everyone for your support and  for me/us. I won't let them win! If we loose I might turn to drugs/alcohol and claim DLA for myself.:beer:0 -
Hello All,
Sorry to just jump in from lurking but I know i will get answers here!
Firstly hugs for all those having a cr8ppy day/life at the moment, MFD,TIA,3 and CAFC are the ones I can remember hope better times come soon.x
Secondly Asda have a slow cooker for £7 and I would like to get it, but I have no idea on recipes. I have been told just chuck everything in but I am some one who needs to know what the everything is!
So can anyone point me in the direction of some recipes or recommend a slow cooker cook book?

Tia, will the website not take your old car? Have you checked with the scrapyard?
It's going (back) up tomorrow, went up on Monday night and the guy had closed up  Then it was closed Tues and Wed. But from what I have read they will not give us anywhere near what they say they will. I'm just in a negative mood now and really don't even want to think about it right now. I plan on buying lots of organza and ribbon and making tutu's*Head-In-The-Sand* (face down, a** up, that's the way we like to ....):rotfl:

I believe the OS board has a SC thread, or else a search at Amazon brought up loads of books. My husband is the slow cooker around here (dinner at 6:30 my butt, it is coming up for 7!).
Also, Tia, I think tutus all round should make you feel better - maybe you could go as the Addams Family Ballet for Halloween? :grouphug: I hope the car gets you the money you need for the new one, and if you call the new car place late Friday claiming your OH does shift work and only told you now can you please take care of it on Monday they'll probably agree.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

C'mon MFD, lets sit in the corner and get stonking drunk while setting the world to rights and shouting out unique curses at random moments. Won't make us feel better, but it will give the rest of the girls (and Bruno) a laugh.
Can I come too? I'm in the mood for a good curse.
Have a hug MFD. Sh!tty day all round.Obviously the worst part of the day for you was not getting to see me.
