I hate red cards, I also think my postman steals my stuff! Birthday cards go missing. To prove my point, I went and sent myself 3 birthday cards :p and only 2 arrived. oh aye!!!

A few days ago i was convinced my postman was stealing my stuff because nothing turned up. But it all came today!

And he tried to fit a clearblue fertility monitor in my tiny letter box, so i had to go and help him to get it and Lily fell off the sofa.
So it was his fault

I heard that some postman just carry RM red cards because they dont want to carry packages around all day, tsk tsk.

BM you crack me up :)

Sami - have followed your lead on the links thingy. Only had a few, but seeing as most of you are on there anyway, you will see them anyhow.

And Delain go for it :) I don't blame you taking your mum swimming - no idea how people take two swimming wihtout two of you to take them. Let alone 3 Hopefuly Izzy will be able to swim by herself by the time I'm in that position!

Well I had my eldest, then 21 months later I had twins :rotfl: so at one point I had three under two!

I want Squeak to go to the baby swim sessions (under 5s are free and we get a subsidised gym membership through OH's job) and then eventually swimming lessons on her own. Fortunately the other ones will be at school. We do do lots but I feel really bad that they're still non swimmers at their age!

  • EA they definitely do that round here. I've had them put the cards through the door when I was standing the other side of it about to go out, and have opened the door to moan at them, so I have first hand experience. I'm currently being force fed cherry tomatoes, so if I dissapear and don't come back I'm probably suffering from an overdose!

    Our postman is pretty good!

He brings the letters round first then the packages later, by which point I'm usually home :D

And the parcelforce man who pulled over to a bus stop to ask what he should do with a large parcel he had for me in his van. OMG that sounds really dodgy :rotfl: Can you tell we buy everything online!

Oh you know how I ordered Keira hungry hippos? Well Idris ordered a game a few days before, and Amazon are usually good at sending things out straight away but it was taking ages. So it eventually came on Thursday (I think!) and the box was smashed up to bits like it had been pulled up the M1 for 18 miles and then kicked for good measure. Opened it and it was hungry hippos, I was like where hell is that game

So I rang up Amazon and was like "Oi wheres the game, blahblah, your service has taken a downward spiral and while I''m moaning, you should see the state of the packaging, i'd be affronted to put that in the recycle bin (I dont even recycle :p)" when I eventually paused for breath the guy asked me If i had taken hungry hippos out the box and i was like erm no, the game was packaged underneath :rotfl: I was like well you normally didnt do that, and your packaging is still horrid and then hung up embarrassed!

It's only time before she loses some and then gripes about it. She was sitting playing it by herself (bless) but after 30mins of it I'd had enough (more so because she gets a face on if she loses, and then gloats like crazy if she wins) and she came through all smug and said "Look, I wonned, I got all 20! *grin*"

Well Keira, you do tend to win if you play alone but YEY WELL DONE :p

I once ordered a shower gel from Mama Mio.

And because i didn't answer my 'gate' he just threw it over and it went everywhere :(
  • BM that is cute. Wait till she starts on Kerplunk. We are tidying up Izzy's toys. We got a load of hand me downs from a friend, and now her toys are taking over the living room, so I've taken them all out of the toy box, with the intention of fitting some things that have been neglected in the box, and anything that doesn't fit is going back in her room. Right now I have a happy child in the middle of a big pile of toys getting very excited, so I'm going to have to try and sneek stuff away one by one while she isn't looking, and leave her with the most exciting stuff!

 I left Molly on the kitchen floor while I put her dinner on to heat and she tipped over a bottle of fake beer  It smashed and went everywhere so I hauled her out of the tidal wave to strip her of her beery clothes and check for any broken glass/cuts and Husband complained because his fake beer was all gone.

On the plus side it went under the fridge and scoured off all the weird crap that I never move the fridge to mop ;)
