So my SIL, she who married my BIL on the beach over the summer, is having extreme baby fever. But BIL has been snipped - does anyone know what the story is with vasectomy reversal and having kids? She's 28 but he's 40 or 41, if it makes a difference?

SS - C is indeed a reversal baby. OH had been 'done' for about 3 years when he met me. He had one reversal on the NHS (doc was amazed they agreed but they didn't bat an eyelid) which didn't work. When we went to see another NHS surgeon about it, he advised micro surgery from a specialist. The sucess rates are much higher. The surgeon who did it said it was about a 60% sucess rate with OH's 'time after snip' (and also working around the NHS attempt on one 'side' :o). Also, with our ages (me 30 at the time and OH 40) we would have about a 40% chance if all went well with the op.

When they called to say it had been a sucess, the surgeon man actually called OH Mr Super sperm cos the count was so high after the op :rotfl:. When we decided to start trying, it only took us 3 months. They do say however that the sperm can become 'sticky' with time after a reversal so we are TTC sooner rather than later now and don't expect it to be so quick again (but who knows).

ETA again http://www.yourvasectomyreversal.co.uk/thesurgeon.html Was OH's man if ya fancy a read

If I can be of any more help, just let me know.

Glam - when you are back - how's Jack sleeping? C seems to be getting worse again and not better.

Also, we had her up at A and E last Sunday cos she had a big rash that I wasn't sure was dissappearing under a glass. Turns out was just a post viral rash but was scary at the time. She is all fine now though.

I warned you about the long post :D

Hugs to all as always, especially those who have recently 'returned' xxx

He's terrible i really didnt know where to look! i must admit that we had a good weekend with only 2 major outbursts, quite a few small ones but they were dealt with or distracted from very quickly.

i should be in bed but im waiting for the machine to finish so i can get another load on before bed! im also trying to do my homework for tom but not sure what to put? the question is how anxiety affects me? worried if i write it all down i may scare myself?

How are you Mel? i saw your post a few days ago and it was lovely! i really am so pleased for you and send you loadsa hugs xxxx

Very much thank you for the offer... Weezl is sending me one but if she changes her mind I'll give you a shout :)

Jam, Aimee came out in a post viral rash once that was scary... Caitlyn seems to come out in one everytime she has a cold! It doesn't scare me any more lol...

OK, so I bought Aimee's school blouses a minimum of 2 years ago... She's been off school for 6 weeks... So why am I sitting sewing the name labels in now?!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Got some new piccies up on FB.
Mum bought us a travel cot to have downstairs for L to play in/kick about without the dog licking his face, but it has mesh sides so the dog can see him, they were both amazed by it LOL

Took L to a nearby "farm", website had all this blurb about a maze, farm shop with bakery/deli/butchers/fruit and veg etc, got there and the place was carp! I'm actually glad L slept the whole way through it... I was promised llamas, and I'm beggared if I could find em...

    Thanks Caz...

I would write everything and more. It is only once it is written down and out in the open that it can be dealt with and instead of being buried it will eventually vanish:)

I am a fine one to talk, I know! I am not so good at taking my own advice;)
