MCO Capital loan

Hi Geomacl, just noticed the >50,000 myself. In agreement with Gomer, issuing the fraudulant letters was a criminal act in no way mitigated by the excuse that it was ID fraud. The OFT is able to fine MCO £50,000 for each criminal breach and should do so (£0.5
. The fact that AF issued CRN's rubber stamps the issue that a crime has been committed. The authorities must act or there's no point in having them.

If the CRA's were worth their existence they would have a system in place similar to what credit card companies have. If someone requests information on your credit report, the relevant CRA has to contact you directly to ask for permission for the information to be passed on. This would stop unknown credit agreements being taken out in a persons name.
Then we are finally in control of our own credit reports and not left to the mercy of companies like Experian and MCO.0 -

I can't even begin to untangle the many ways that fails all tests of logic and justice. Just imagine me indignant and spluttering - and unimpressed with Experian.
Please let me join you in your spluttering indignation. Our personal financial information is just a commodity, to be bought and sold by others.0 -

You're absolutely right. I said that in an e-mail to Experian. Strangely they did not reply to that point. I think I'll write a formal letter asking for their comment on that specific issue.0 -

According to some CRAs this is the process that should be used - BUT, as we all know, it was not used for MCO checks. In fact, when I looked at my Experian report, I saw other credit checks (legitimate for a couple of DDs) but again I was not asked by Experian if this was OK
Perhaps the Experian rep who monitors this site and popped up above the parapet a while back, could help us with this??:money:0 -

Same here, although mine were done by insurance companies. Why they would be checking my credit history is strange though, seeing as I paid for my insurance up front!
Do CRA's charge companies to look at our info, like they try to charge us for the privilege?0 -
Just had an e-mail from Experian saying that they have contacted MCO Capital, and MCO Capital has kindly agreed that their searches can be removed from my credit file.
Does anyone know how Experian are contacting MCO Capital? Perhaps I should ask!
I love the line kindly agreed that their searches can be removed, as if MCO are doing you a favour by having it removed!
Its like MCO coming round to your house and spraying graffitti all over it and then kindly removing it after being asked nicely by the Police.
These muppets certainly know how to wind people up.0
